PEC – Political Knowledge & Career Hub (“PEC”, “we”, “us”) is a learning and community platform. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it and how we look after it.

• Contact form. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject (optional) and the message you write. We also record the IP address the message was sent from, to help prevent spam.

• Account and login. The email address or mobile number you register with, and your password.

• Registration. When you join PEC, we receive confirmation of your payment so we can give you access to the PEC Community.

• Technical information. Standard information your browser sends to our servers, such as device and browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit.

How we use your information

• To reply to your questions and requests

• To create your account and give you access to the PEC Community, Zoom sessions and updates

• To send you learning updates, announcements and information about PEC programs and opportunities

• To keep the website secure and prevent spam, fraud and misuse

• To understand how the website is used and improve it

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and process payments, and where we are required to by law. We ask these providers to use your information only for the services they perform for us.

WhatsApp and other third-party services

Community sessions and updates are shared through the PEC WhatsApp Community and Zoom. These services have their own privacy policies, and what you share there (including your phone number) is also subject to them. Links on our website may lead to other sites, such as Instagram and YouTube, which we do not control.

How we protect your information

Your information is stored in a protected database, and we take reasonable steps to guard it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop sending you updates. To do so, contact us at info@pec.in.
